Bahria Enclave, while a thriving community, has several critical issues that need immediate attention. Unfortunately, some of these fundamental needs have been overlooked for far too long. It is time for SOBER and BEM to prioritize these issues and fulfill the promises they made to the residents.
Key Issues That Need Attention
- Mosque Development: The Grand Mosque in Sector F has been in a standstill mode for quite some time. Despite being a focal point for the community, its development has not moved forward as expected. The residents of Sector F have been waiting for years for this mosque to be completed. Additionally, the mosque in Sector H is in a deteriorating condition and urgently requires maintenance and repairs. It’s important that SOBER and BEM address these issues promptly to ensure that places of worship are safe, functional, and accessible to all residents.
- No Petrol Pump: Another significant issue is the absence of a petrol pump in the area. With the growing population of Bahria Enclave, the need for a convenient and easily accessible petrol pump has become urgent. Residents currently have to travel long distances to refuel, which is both inconvenient and time-consuming. A petrol pump within the community would be a welcome addition and greatly improve the convenience for all.
- Water Supply: The current water supply via piped systems is inadequate and unreliable, leading to constant shortages. Residents often face difficulties in accessing clean water, especially during peak hours. There is a pressing need to create a dedicated water reservoir to meet the local needs and ensure a stable and continuous water supply. By investing in a local water reservoir, SOBER and BEM can significantly improve the living conditions in Bahria Enclave.
A Call to Action
It is time for SOBER and BEM to take action on these pressing matters. The development of the Grand Mosque, the improvement of Sector H mosque, the establishment of a petrol pump, and the creation of a water reservoir for local needs should be prioritized. These are not just conveniences but essential services that will improve the daily lives of residents and contribute to the long-term development of Bahria Enclave.
The focus must shift to fulfilling these promises to the community. Rather than getting sidetracked by less important issues, SOBER and BEM need to ensure that the basic needs of the community are met. Let’s work together to create a better Bahria Enclave that all residents can enjoy, ensuring that it becomes a place where everyone has access to the necessary services and infrastructure to live comfortably.
