Bahria Enclave is often lauded as a well-planned and luxurious residential area in Islamabad, promising modern living with top-notch facilities. Yet, amidst the beautifully designed homes, scenic views, and modern amenities, a glaring issue remains unaddressed: the lack of a proper mosque in Sector H. This oversight has not only created significant inconveniences for the residents but also challenges the very ethos of Bahria Enclave’s commitment to providing a complete and comfortable living experience.
Current Challenges for Worshippers in Sector H
The existing mosque in Sector H is unable to accommodate the growing population of the area. The situation becomes especially dire during Friday prayers, Eid prayers, and the holy month of Ramzan, where attendance significantly increases. Due to the limited space:
- Worshippers are forced to pray on the streets, often risking their safety and disrupting traffic.
- Many have no choice but to pray near bathrooms, an arrangement that not only lacks dignity but also fails to meet proper religious standards.
- The community’s spiritual needs are compromised, as the current structure cannot serve as a hub for additional activities such as Quranic classes, Ramzan Taraweeh, or community gatherings.
he Case for a Proper Mosque According to CDA’s Approved Layout Plan (LOP)
As per the CDA-approved Layout Plan (LOP), there is a provision for a full-scale mosque in every sector of Bahria Enclave. The absence of a mosque that aligns with this plan in Sector H raises serious questions about the priorities of the management. A proper mosque is not just a necessity but a right for the residents who invested in Bahria Enclave with the expectation of enjoying world-class facilities.
A well-constructed mosque serves as a cornerstone for the community, providing a space for spiritual growth, social cohesion, and educational activities. Sector H and neighboring Sector G require a mosque that can:
- Accommodate the entire sector’s population, especially during peak prayer times.
- Provide separate ablution areas and ensure the dignity of worshippers.
- Facilitate inclusive services for men, women, and children, ensuring everyone can participate in religious activities comfortably.

A Call to Action: Urging Malik Riaz and Bahria Enclave Management
We urge Malik Riaz and the management of Bahria Enclave to prioritize this pressing issue and allocate the necessary funds for a double-story, full-scale mosque in Sector H. A mosque of this scale should be designed to cater not only to the current population but also to future growth, ensuring it remains a spiritual sanctuary for generations to come.
This mosque should include:
- A spacious prayer hall to handle peak prayer times.
- Adequate parking space to prevent disruption on roads.
- Proper ventilation and cooling systems for year-round comfort.
- Facilities for educational and community activities, creating a hub for holistic development.
The Community’s Plea
The residents of Sector H and G have waited long enough for this essential facility. While Bahria Enclave has always prided itself on setting benchmarks for excellence, this oversight undermines its reputation. It is time for the management to step forward, listen to the concerns of its residents, and uphold their promise of delivering a complete and fulfilling lifestyle.
Let us work together to ensure that no one has to pray on the streets or near bathrooms ever again. A proper mosque is not just a building—it is the heart of the community. Let it beat strong and proud in Sector H, serving as a symbol of unity, faith, and progress.
Join the Movement
Residents and concerned citizens are encouraged to share this message, raise awareness, and urge the management to take immediate action. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every resident of Bahria Enclave has a dignified space to worship.
