A group of prominent residents hosted a farewell lunch in honour of Maj. Ashfaq Hussain Shah, BE Chief of MSM today. It was also meant to welcome his successor, Maj. Ahmad Nadeem.
A range of security-related issues were discussed in the course of the lunch. The residents complimented Maj. Ashfaq’s leading role in strengthening security. His services will be remembered with deep appreciation by the community. On the occasion, the outgoing Chief said that he performed his duties to the best of his ability. He added that Maj. Nadeem was fully competent to take charge, and that he would speedily address all subjects, dealing with the security structure of BE.
For his part, Maj. Nadeem expressed his resolve to reinforce the entire system of security with greater professionalism & training of personnel. He said that he looked forward to staying in touch with all sections of the community in search of solutions.
Earlier, Mr. Sajid Yamin introduced the guests to Maj. Nadeem.
